Operation Tailgate

Operation Tailgate is a FREE Veterans Day event to honor both current and former members of the military. Upon completion of the Veterans Day Parade/CSRA Veterans Day Observance Ceremony, we hold a reception BBQ featuring over 30 Veteran Service Organizations and Veteran Owned
Businesses. They showcase their products and/or services. Shepeard Community Blood Center is also onsite with a mobile unit to accept blood donations.

This event is always free for military service personnel, veterans and children, though military ID is required. Food and drinks are available for $5 per person.

The Operation Tailgate event is normally held at the ForcesUnited
Headquarters located at 701 Greene Street, Augusta.
